How it Works

On the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 6pm at the Rotary Club of Albury North’s meeting, SIX Prizes are drawn using an online raffle ticket service platform.
Each month those SIX prizes include one MAJOR TRAVEL VOUCHER prize worth $4,000 and 5 minor business voucher prizes worth $150 each.
Every ticket purchased remains valid during EVERY draw for the full 12 months. (Winning tickets are recorded and re-entered into all future draws)
Tickets sales are limited to 800 and are available to purchase from early March to 30th June each year unless sold out prior.
Draws take place monthly beginning the 2^nd Tuesday of July following the close of ticket sales to June the following year.
All winners will be contacted by email. All winning ticket numbers will be advertised on our website, facebook page and in the TEC newsletter in the week following the draws.
All MAJOR travel prize are arranged through Hello World Albury. The value of the voucher can be used by the winners to create a trip of their choice OR they take a gift card of their choice to the value of 85% of the prize by contacting the Travel Escape Club Administration team.
Each Ticket costs $150 and has 72 chances to win over the year (cost equates to around 1/2 a cup of coffee a week ie.$2.88)
If tickets are purchased before the BONUS Early Bird Draw, held in May each year, the chances increase to 78!

BENEFICIARIES

All net profits are directed towards our nominated projects each year. Most funds stay locally, but regional and international programs will be supported based on need.

COUNTRY HOPE

We are funding psychologist vouchers to assist families and young individuals diagnosed with life-threatening illnesses.

CAREVAN FOUNDATION

We are assisting with funds to support the “Kids Cooking and Care Program”

LATROBE UNIVERSITY PSYCHOLOGY BURSARIES

We are supporting fifth-year psychology students to pursue their Master’s degree to address the scarcity of fully qualified psychologists in our region.

Each year funds raised through the Travel Escape Club focuses on different causes to support. In 2022-23 youth suicide prevention was our major focus supporting the Solstice Documentary into schools. In 2023-24 we supported the development and delivery of a short course in mental health first aid and resilience for volunteers working across a broad spectrum of charitable organisations.

Terms and Conditions

Draw Procedure

In compliance with NSW and Victorian legislative requirements, the monthly electronic draw of the six winning tickets will be witnessed by an independent person who does not hold a ticket.

The monthly draw will take place at 6pm before the Tuesday evening RCAN meeting, in the presence of Rotarians and guests. Witnesses may vary from month to month.

The first number drawn is for the major travel prize. The five subsequent numbers are for the $150 vouchers. Each number drawn is recorded by the Travel Escape Club Committee person overseeing the draw and is checked and verified by our independent witness.

All winning tickets will be entered in all future draws for the financial year.
